It is under the Matzikama Local Municipality in the City of Cape Town in the Western Cape. The nearby communities of Strandfontein, where most of the members of the Church reside include Pelikan Park, Macidance Camp and Rocklands.

Revival Fellowship Full Gospel Church of God is one of the local churches under the denomination, called the Full Gospel Church of God in Southern Africa. This denomination has a long history that can be traced as far back as 1860 when it was called the Dutch Reformed Church. By 1951, inspired by the Pentecostal movement and the merging of the Full Gospel Church in Southern Africa and the Church of God in Cleveland, USA, the church has a representation in 162 countries in the world with about 828 local assemblies. The Revival Fellowship Church of God as a local assembly was formed through an amalgamation of three local churches in Strandfontein, namely Abundant Grace, Agape Ministries and Strandfontein Revival Fellowship on 30th September in 2001.
Since then, this local church has been spiritually, morally and materially serving the Strandfontein and nearby communities through the preaching and teaching of God’s word, evangelism and counselling.
